It's one of those humid weeks here on Cape Cod, so we made sure to drink some water before we headed out on our bird walk. I got to surprise the KidSummer Kids with their binoculars for our bird walk today! I LOVE when they realize they get to keep them! While we were on our walk, I did not hear ONE complaint about the heat. We did discuss how we were melting slightly on the viewing platform in the sunshine on the Lee Baldwin Trail. We were seeing so many birds though, none of us were bothered by the summery sun. I asked these bird nerds to keep their eyes open for birds they notice on the way to and from the museum in the mornings. I'm curious to what they say they saw.
